Public restrooms are available next to the Quilt Barn, as well as throughout the fairgrounds.

Walkability: The Fairgrounds site is extensive, mostly flat, and walkable.

Please note some craftsman and food/drink vendors only accept cash. Many accept credit cards.

 

Where is the festival located?

The festival is located at 450 Wentz Street in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.


What are the admission prices?

$16.00 for Adults l Gate Price all days

$16.00 Friday, Saturday and Sunday

$13.00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Children 12 and under FREE
Weekly Pass: $45.00

Online ticketing is encouraged. Credit cards are accepted and preferred at all gates.


What are the festival hours?

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Daily


Do you offer any coupons?

Coupons are not required to receive our midweek discounted rate.

Does the festival go on rain or shine?

Yes, almost everything is either in a building or under a tent.


Do I need to order tickets online?

Online ticketing is encouraged. Credit cards are encouraged at the gates.


If I purchase a one day ticket, can I leave and come back on the same day?

Yes, please make sure that you get your hand stamped by someone at the gate.


Are pets allowed?

We love pets, however we highly discourage bringing your pet to the Festival. Conditions are not comfortable for pets for several reasons including lack of water, crowds, heat, and no bathroom areas for pets. We ask that you leave them home so you can both have a more enjoyable day. Thank you!

Are craftsmen there every day and is it the same every day?

Yes, the craftsmen are there every day however the entertainment schedule may vary from day to day. On July 4th there is a parade, andour live Quilt Auction is on the 2nd Saturday of the Festival.


What is there to do for kids?

The festival offers a large variety of kids activities including a children's stage with puppet shows and storytelling, hands-on demonstrations, hay maze, and craft area.


When is the Quilt Auction?

The Quilt Auction is held the last Saturday of festival at 12:00 PM on the Main Stage. Twenty-four finalists are selected by the judges and auctioned off at noon. Prices average about $2,800 but in previous years they have gone from as low as $1,000 to a high of $15,500. During the week, there are over 1,200 quilts on sale and range in price from $600 to $1,200.

What are the conditions of the fairgrounds?

We are ADA-approved and wheelchair-accessible and, although some of the exhibits are on grass under tents, they are also accessible except if exceptionally rainy. We have a lot of buildings as well, and our large quilt building is air-conditioned. In the event of rain, everything is either held inside or under large tents.


Does the festival have a first aid stand?

The festival's first aid stands include a changing area for babies, rocking chairs for nursing mothers, and strollers for rent. Small donations are accepted.


Is beer are available at the festival?

A variety of beer is available at the beer gardens as well as local craft beer, wine and spirits throughout the festival grounds.

Is there handicapped parking?

Yes, there is handicapped parking available. Just tell the person at the gate entrance that you need handicapped parking and they can direct you accordingly. Handicapped parking is available on a first-come basis.
