  • Cotton Tales: Covering the basics of cotton fabric development from greige goods (base fabric) to print creation to printing. Differences of fabrics purchased in chain stores versus independent quilt shops.

  • Color & Stitch: Discussions around how color and other fabric details affect the outcome of a quilt

Cyndi also offers a variety of classes such as Basic Quilting and Into to Quilting and also narrows down to specific techniques such as Machine Applique. In addition, she offers project specific classes such as Double Wedding Ring quilt.

For Middle Schools, Cyndi shows how basic geometric shapes can become quilt blocks and how they can be used in a quilt. Teachers like how the math aspect integrates into the quilt concept. She has done the same for High Schools and has also talked about color in art classes.
